The Trackless Wild, Song of A Wandering Tip

In search of lost voices-tracing the Irish-Argentine songs left behind by a man called 'Tip.' The Trackless Wild is a lyrical documentary that uncovers the forgotten legacy of A Wandering Tip, an Irish-Argentine ballad writer whose songs once travelled across continents. Through the rediscovery of five 19th-century songs, the film explores their meanings and resonances across generations, drawing on interviews with Irish-Argentine poets, musicians, and farmers. Using archival material, animation, and evocative narration, the film weaves together history, performance, and landscape, following the traces of music once carried across the pampas and into the present day.
